Inthanin Award

Bangkok International Animation Film Festival 2009

 

Inthanin is the name of a flower with wonderful characteristics and dark green leaves that can grow anywhere in the country. People often use this plant to create shaded areas and its flowers form as beautiful groups. Throughout the shell from leaves to trunk can be used as herbal medicine. The flower also has a nickname of Queen's Flower.

 

The award is designed by Professor Nonthiwat Chantanapalin who is a national artist in visual arts (sculpture). He chose Inthanin to reflect associations with closeness, love, unity, one mind, and further has meaning of prosperity and long life.

 

Such similarity to combinations of our collaborations, all factions both public and private sectors to support their creative efforts at Bangkok International Animation Film Festival to begin to grow as a baby Inthanin tree, with deep roots, growing branches that create shade, and produces beautiful flowers for everyone to come together to enjoy forever.
